A bit about me
I was born and raised in the North of Canada. Born in Iqaluit, Northwest Territories (now Nunavut), and raised in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. After finishing my elementary and high school in Yellowknife, I moved south, to Calgary, to continue my pursuit of an Olympic podium at the National Training Centre and to further my education by studying at the University of Calgary. After six years in Calgary, I decided to change training centers and join the National Short Track Training Centre in Montreal, Qc, Canada, where I currently reside.
I am a proud Northerner and am passionate about the north, the outdoors, my sport and all amateur sports in general. I love to cross country ski, ride my mountain bike and get out on big hikes during my off season. I love waking up knowing that I get to push my own limits each and everyday.
